Recordings of “Recommendations” Lecture
A few people commented/emailed and asked if they could get recordings of the lecture I mention in my last post. You can find the audio here, I’m not sure how much use it will be without the slides, but I hope you find it helpful!

here’s a helpful way to download all of that class’ lectures to your mp3 player or ipod..
Add this greasemonkey script I wrote a couple years back to your firefox browser. It auto discovers mp3 or wav files on a web page and creates a new browser tab with a fully functional RSS podcast file.. which you can then load into your itunes, which will automatically help you download all the files at once.

Hands down, Apple’s app shop wins by a nautical mile. It’s a great selection of all kinds of apps vs a rather sad selection of a smattering for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the region of games, but I’m not certain I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
